According to the plan, activity starts at 16.00, presenting speakers Ulil Abshar-Abdalla (of Freedom Institute) and Bonnie Triyana (Historian), with moderator Roger Tol (Director KITLV, Jakarta).

Books published by KITLV working with the Library Larasan Indonesia raised the cultural history 1950-1965 and is the result of research work for three years. Making this book involves a number of Indonesian and foreign writers.

The second activity is discussion titled Post-Marxian Political Emancipation, starting at 19:00. Speakers in this discussion is Robertur Robert (professor of philosophy) and Buddhist Ken Kusumandaru (activist), sponsored by Hivos.

The issues to be dissected in this discussion summarized in a question, there is still political emancipation in the midst of Indonesia? Currently, Indonesia's political trapped in routine and procedure-goodness political views only of the extent to which he had followed procedures.

Public interest be eliminated by individual interests and political parties. This situation seems correct, and democratic by following existing procedures, such as elections, parliamentary procedures, and bureaucratic rules. Routine politics also perpetuate corruption, violence, and violations become banal. So, how are we going to talk of political emancipation in a situation like this?
