Lesbian Can Be Prevented, but Could Not Modified

Sexual orientation is more heavily influenced by the environment, although each person has a gene feminine and masculine in him. In other words, greater environmental influence than genes, including the tendency of their sexual orientation. Heterosexual can turn into a homosexual, or vice versa. And everyone has the potential for same-sex love, lesbian or gay.

"Although parenting and the environment encourages heterosexual, but the changes that continue into adulthood can alter a person's sexual orientation. Moreover, they are not equipped with self-formation, character, religious education, and morality from their parents," said clinical psychologist told Compass Female Lita Ivory.

According to Lita, sexual orientation process influenced by many factors. Very small portion of genes, he said. Internal and external environment is more dominant, including parenting, trauma, the search for a father or mother figure during childhood to adolescence, and parental attention to the growth phase of the child through adolescence. Ability and attention of parents in providing direction and guidance of functional sex differences also be other factors that influence.

"When teens are latent phase. Children already know the sex but not to deliver biologically. If the latent period is not accompanied by either parent, the child can change the orientation. Children get confused if not redirected. Moreover, the age of 15 years for example, have appeared in interest in the opposite sex, "he explained.

More effective preventive
As a teenager lost direction, in the absence of parental figures as a place to share and ask, sexual orientation can be changed. Teens are very sensitive. After all teenagers can still unstable and the environment influenced to choose to be heterosexual or homosexual.

"Therefore, adolescents should be constantly accompanied by her parents. Give freedom, but still accompanied. Parents should position itself as a friend, should know the developments of today and do not feel most correctly," advises Lita.

Proper parenting will help teenagers identify themselves. While parenting is wrong to make teens seek recognition of themselves outside the home, in an environment that makes it comfortable. Trauma in childhood, including for sexual or physical violence can also affect the formation of teenage characters.

Junior high school student lesbian relationship in Depok, West Java, Mr. initials (15) with Sj (26) is none other taekwondonya teacher, is one of the social reality that shows the high influence of environment.

"The environment greatly affects nearby. Moreover, if adolescents have feelings, perceptions, and desires the same with people she likes. This similarity could be awakened because of the proximity, often meet, or make the teacher as a place to vent. Additionally it was also because of the chemistry," said Lita , analyze this social reality.

Sports taekwondo has a strong tendency of people and protect, and adrenaline rush. Such figures can be obtained from Mr. Sj.

"Children feel protected," he added, while emphasizing the convergence of the child in a sexually oriented environment homosexual (lesbian teacher) is a form of child sexual orientation change.

If you're comfortable, your child choose homosexuality as a sexual orientation. If it's like this, it is likely to change very little, said Lita.

It's hard to change sexual orientation
Still according to Lita, American Psychiatric Association research shows that therapy do for sexual orientation is still minimal. Even there, a small success rate.

"Most sexual orientation (the homosexual) is a lesbian. The reason for the nature of his heart sank, sympathy, and empathy, is more biased toward women," said Lita.

Therapy is only a little help for someone to change their sexual orientation. Everything should be back to consciousness, or desires of the individual. As well as how to handle parents who should not be forced.

"If it happens parents should receive in addition to trying to restore to heterosexuals. However, parents should be aware that this is due to an error pattern of his foster," said Lita.

Parents to blame if lesbian occur in adolescents. Because children are still in the corridor parenting parents, he said.

Counting calories was not the primary key, both in losing and maintaining your ideal weight. Based on large-scale study of diets in Europe, the best way to cut weight is to eat a lot as long as the menu that is eaten the right foods, like meat, beans, and cold pasta.

A study in Britain concluded that the method of calorie counting based diet has been found ineffective. To make the body stay slim, someone actually had to eat the right foods without limitation amount.

The conclusion was drawn after the researchers compared the five types of diets. They found that the model most appropriate and effective in slimming is a high-protein diet plus glycemic index (GI) is low, in which there are foods such as lean meats, fish, eggs, and some types of nuts.

This diet is also based on the low GI carbs, like whole wheat bread and brown rice. Such foods are slowly digested by the body and make the stomach full longer. Blood sugar levels remain stable.

According to the researchers, these foods cold or frozen will also digested slowly and have a lower GI. As for cold pasta contains more carbohydrates are not soluble or so-called resistant starch, which can slow digestion.

Scientists who initiated this research, Professor Arne Astrup of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, claiming that its findings can be one solution to suppress the obesity epidemic.

"For years we have been giving wrong advice about how to lose weight and prevent obesity. Taking into account the calories does not work and may make the problem worse because they do not see clearly the different types of food," he said.

The composition of this new diet, go Astrup, believed to be more effective to help maintain ideal weight. "This diet contains higher protein and foods with low GI, as well as you can so much food that you want," Astrup said that his research published in the journal The New England Journal of Medicine. Astrup and his team monitor the 772 families in Europe consisting of 938 adults and 827 children. Adult volunteers who are obese and suffer from obesity are obliged to follow the traditional diet worth 800 calories per day for 8 weeks and managed to lose an average of 10 kg. They were then asked to choose one of five types of diets to see which model is most effective weight loss.

Five options are diet is a diet low in protein and high GI, low protein and low GI, high protein and low GI, high protein and high GI, while the fifth group was not given food guidelines limit the IG.

Research results showed that high-protein diet group was recorded as the low GI group experiencing the most minimal weight gain, while the low-protein high-GI group most experienced weight gain with an average of 1.5 kg. Children also benefit from high-protein diet low IG although they did not specifically a diet. At the end of the study, the number of children who are overweight decreased by 39 percent.

Van Gogh met with How Not Ordinary

WHEN asked how many more times I wanted to go back to Van Gogh Alive-The Exhibition, I would answer: no matter how many times I will not be bored!

How can it be boring if the masterpieces of Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh, exhibited by mengolaborasikan visual works, sound and projection technology so it becomes alive. On entering the exhibition hall a dark room, music-classical music from the 19th and 20th centuries greeted me with a gentle ear drum. When she walked into the main gallery, I heard the adults and children in this room. But why is this dark room?

Confusion I missed when image after image appeared on the walls, columns, roof and floor exhibition space. Apparently paintings of Van Gogh millik projected onto planes of this room. The light also allowed me to see the contents of the room. No furniture or classic frames containing the painting. Only some sort of park bench seats of wood in the corners of the room.

I can also see a lot of small children dressed in uniform. Some are sitting on the floor, lying there on top of projected images while viewing the projected paintings on the ceiling. There are fun touches the wall where the painting of a woman playing the piano is being projected. Some are dancing and jumping from side to side when I heard the classic song that was playing.

Artscience museum in the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore was chosen to host the inaugural Van Gogh Alive-The Exhibition. The exhibition, which will still take place up to 6 November, featured artwork of Van Gogh in 1890 as a productive year. About 3,000 paintings by Van Gogh digital projection to the gallery space, such as The Starry Night, Potato Eaters, Self-Potrait, Still Life, Vase with Twelve Sunflowers and Vincent's Chair with His Pipe.

Museum Director Tom Zaller said it took about three years of preparation to operate this exhibition. Organizers put the 41 high-definition projector and 41 computer to synchronize music and image and project it. Throughout the Van Gogh images can be projected at 2 square miles to a plane that is in the Main Galleries of 1,500 square meters in Level B 2 ArtScience Museum.

"These paintings are projected onto walls, columns, roof and floor gallery space," he said.

The museum also provides educational materials for children of different ages so they can better understand the works of Van Gogh. So no wonder, this place became one of the targeted study tours of school age children, not only from Singapore but also some neighboring countries. The children were not bored because they get into a world full of color, movement, music and light all at once.

Van Gogh is considered as one of the greatest painters in European art history. Initially, the works of Van Gogh used colors are bleak. After his trip to Paris, he changed course into impressionism, so more use of colors brighter. But later, he switched to the style of expressionism.

Van Gogh then reached its golden ages, and astonishing the world with his works until he finally felt he was crazy and spend life in mental hospitals until the end of life. Despite living in an asylum, Van Gogh tetao capable of producing such paintings Portrait of Dr. Gachet and The Round of the Prisoners.

On the outside of the exhibition hall, visitors can see the various quotes ever uttered by Van Gogh. Quote that appeals to me reads: "A good picture is equivalent to a good deed". Van Gogh seemed to consider that a good image is produced through the action of a good also. Van Gogh's quote that is not less interesting is the 'To do good work one must eat well, be well-housed, have one's fling from time to time, one's pipe smoke and drink one's coffee in peace'.

Is it that much? Eits ... wait a minute. A time to take pictures a la Van Gogh near the entrance. 10 R-sized photo will be printed directly on the spot. Enjoy the artwork with an unusual way ...
